What is a case conference?
We have pioneered a new coordinated and collaborative approach to specialist consultation called the collective.care case conference. This is where a team of specialists in ears, nose, throat, skin, eyes, and allergies work together under one roof.
Patients at collective.care have the advantage of seeing a range of doctors and other therapies at one time which will result in a more holistic diagnosis of symptoms, and a higher standard of treatment, drawing on the collective expertise of a multi-skilled team. Case conferences mean a higher standard of treatment, drawing on the collective expertise of a multi-skilled team.
Do you want to join a collective.care case conference?
By participating in a case conference we believe this is a great opportunity to reach out and connect with local health professionals who share your interest in quality health care and who value being part of a connected team. This means other local health therapists get to have an opportunity to co-manage cases with your local specialists benefitting both you and the patient.
If you are an allied health professional in:

Training and Workshops
By joining our health professionals UPDATES you can keep connected to us and be reminded if there are any upcoming local training events close to you or upcoming grant approved specialist emergency skills for rural practitioners.
For Rural General Practitioners, our emergency training modules such as our Management of Fractured Nose and facial trauma workshop is grant approved for rural and remote procedural and emergency medicine further training.
Can GP registrars train here?
Yes. We offer a minimum 6 month special skills posts for GP registrars as well as VR and applicable NON VR GP’s. Our training programs give GPs better understanding of subspecialist care in Allergy, ENT, EYE and SKIN in order to improve their primary care practice in the long run.
In General Practice, sub-specialties are often poorly taught by traditional institutions and hence there is increased requirements for further training. Clinical Doctors are accredited supervisors with GP Synergy (the largest general practice vocational training provider in NSW) . We offer ENT, Skin, Allergy + Eye special skills posts. GP registrars can work part time or full time in our Bella Vista location. We have February and August 2017 intakes available.
For further information, please contact Dr Suzan Bekir, Clinical Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why should GPs consider improving their special skills?
By encouraging GP’s to improve skills it helps reduce unnecessary and inappropriate referrals and emergency department visits. GP’s also learn rational ordering of tests required for speciality clinical work ups as well as improve emergency skills and best practice management knowledge in each speciality areas. It's an opportunity to learn about new treatments which can be offered in general practice such as laser + IPL treatments, allergy tests, and allergy treatments like rhinolight.
